Rising artist, Ejay Jemi, is stepping into the new year with an exciting rebrand, unveiling her new stage name ?Osoba,? inspired by her birthright name, Osoba Faith Jemima. This bold move reflects her commitment to embracing her African heritage and represents her mission to empower women globally. The rebrand comes with the release of her highly anticipated single, ?African Queen,? set to drop on January 31st, 2025.

?African Queen? is a powerful anthem for women everywhere, telling the story of a little African girl who defied society's standards of beauty, skin color, and ethnicity. The track captures the emotional journey of resilience, independence, and self-love with lyrics that resonate deeply:

?How you make it out the mud, How you trying to come up, You don?t know anybody,

You ain?t got no plugs, You don?t look like a star, You don?t look like them, I?m in love with me, I ain?t trying to fit in.?

For Osoba, the song is a personal and powerful reflection of her own experiences and aspirations. ?We want to make songs that tell stories and evoke emotions,? she says. ??African Queen? is for every woman who has ever struggled to fit into the narrow definitions of beauty and success. It?s a message of self-love, strength, and authenticity.?

With this rebrand, Osoba is also embracing a bold new look. Sporting a bald head, she symbolizes the beauty of African women and bald women across the globe. This visual transformation is not only an expression of her identity but also a celebration of confidence and individuality.

Produced by award-winning, multi-billboard charting executive producer Curtis Johnson, ?African Queen? promises to be a game-changing release. The song will be distributed through Create Source Media?s partnership with Sony Music Entertainment?s The Orchard. The accompanying music video will also drop on Valentine?s Day, offering fans an unforgettable visual experience to accompany the empowering track.

As Osoba embarks on this exciting new chapter, she is poised to make waves on all social media platforms, connecting with fans and inspiring women around the world.
