Her words: “We are grateful to God for this great win. It was tough but we came back victorious. Congratulations to all our Laureates!!!”

In her contribution, the proprietress of the school, Mrs Maureen Okoro, poured encomium on the teachers and students of the school for distinguishing themselves among all the schools that came for the competition.

She said that she is proud that the children lived up to the name of the school, Laureate, meaning honoured for achieving distinction or for winning awards.

“Today is one of the happiest days in my life. In fact, my joy has no bound because of the honour that these children have brought to Laureatefield Schools. Just imagine being the overall champion among all the schools that registered for the competition in Lagos State and now going to Abuja to represent Lagos State. I want to use this opportunity to appreciate my wonderful teachers for the hard work and dedication. I also at the same time appreciating the parents for their continuous support and I want to assure them that we will continue to live up to our name Laureate!” Mrs Okoro said.
