“The Traditional Rulers after careful deliberations on their stand with the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Council came up with the following communique.

“That the Chairman Awgu Local Government Council Hon Pedro Nwankwo never took the Traditional Rulers of Awgu Local Government serious.

“That all the promises he made to the royal fathers, none was fulfilled. He insults the royal fathers at will.

“That he publicly announced that he gives the royal fathers N1.7 million for their monthly meetings, but in reality he gives #700,000 only”.

“We the traditional rulers are not aware of such projects he claimed that he executed because the projects cannot be verified”.
