Social media users have continued to react differently to a trending nude video of the popular Nigerian TikTok influencer, Esther Raphael, widely known as “The Buba girl’.

The influencer became a trending topic after a video of her engaging in explicit self-pleasure, otherwise known as masturbating, went viral on social media.

The intimate video was alleged to have been leaked by some individuals who gained access to the video through the reality star boyfriend.

It was learnt that Esther sent the private video to her boyfriend, trusting it would only be seen by him. However, her boyfriend allegedly recorded it with another phone and shared it with other individuals who subsequently used the video to blackmail and threaten her.

However, the blackmailers released the video when the TikTok star refused to give in to their demands.

The video has continued to generate mixed reactions from social media users since it made its way to the internet.

While some condemned the TikTok content creator for the incident, others offered words of encouragement to her, urging her to stay strong during this difficult time.

Reacting to the development, @teajays tweeted, “It’s really disheartening to see incidents like Esther Raphael’s videos being leaked. It does make you wonder about the direction our generation is headed in. You’re absolutely right – nobody is perfect, but the thought of recording such personal moments is baffling.”

@cfcAjala wrote, “She fvcckkked up.”

Another user, @Tobby707 tweeted, “Why all this girls dey do like this, I don watch another girl for TikTok again make I post am??”

“This girl is a pornstar naa, look at the videos one her VG was shaved the other her VG was hairy. It was intentional not leaked.” @VincentOnyeka90 opined.

@ib_mobhbraym wrote, “You people should allow this #bubagirl rest. So because you’re not caught and or your own nude did not leak you think you’re better? It baffles to see the kind of people throwing shades at her. especially the girls .”

@TheNaijaNerd tweeted, “We are not watching. We feel bad for her.”

“Pain converts you to greatness.. it’s just a phase to test you.. nothing is new there.. we all do it.. people pretend so holy.. Trust me it will pass and you will smile again, stay beautiful and blessed.” @SirusDav tweeted.

@Raj_Rhaull wrote, “This shit is getting old, let’s let the whole thing rest, eee don happen eee don happen, no one would do this whole stunt if it was our sister in the pic.” (Tribune)
