Yesterday I heard this message on TV and it is simply the story of my life:

“Leave it alone they don’t control your destiny; they’re just a weed!”

But the enemy would love to get us distracted fighting battles that don’t matter. You don’t have time to waste responding to people that are never going to be for you. Some people are determined to misunderstand you. They don’t like the favor on your life; they don’t like the fact that you’re happy, that you’re blessed, you’re successful.

Don’t spend your valuable time dealing with the weed. The enemy wouldn’t have sown the weed if he didn’t know you were a world-changer; a history-maker; a giant-killer.

Ignore the weeds. If I was trying to…convince every critic to change their mind and like me, I wouldn’t have had the energy, the creativity, the anointing to do the work God called me to do.

Now years later, the people (critics) so vocal against me who had such a big platform – they’re no longer around. They had issues – made choices that have caused things to fall apart.

You won’t reach your destiny dealing with all the weeds. When the enemy comes in at night and sows weed in your good soil, you don’t understand and it’s unfair, don’t panic. Let God deal with the weed. Life is too short, your time too valuable, your assignment too important to spend it on things that don’t matter. It’s because you have a great harvest coming!” –— American mega pastor Joel Osteen.

The first week of August is special to me because it is the anniversary of my release from Nigerian dictator Gen. Abacha’s dungeons 27 years ago this month. But something else happened this year that makes it all connected.

I transplanted some victims of terror from Nigeria into the U.S. An evil man aptly named Doug “Wead” in the guise of helping came and poisoned the minds of some of these schoolgirls with bribes and greed.

He then aligned with another Nigerian tyrant to take some of the schoolgirls from me in 2016 and malign me all over. I chose to ignore him.

He and Gen. Buhari doublecrossed each other and broke up. The girls were scattered around the US. Some who didn’t betray me did well, some who followed the dictator didn’t do well and two who followed the bad Wead did decent.

Wead continued to defame me in the media still. Finally I sued the newspaper that he used against me and Muhammadu Buhari’s government for defamation BUT did NOT sue Wead.

Wead took the two schoolgirls to the White House and took pictures with Trump where he boasted that he rescued the girls from a human trafficker (see pix 1). I did nothing to Wead.

Later on, the Trump campaign falsely claimed that Trump brought these girls to America to gain votes from Nigerian Americans. I ignored Wead.

Then in September 2021, Wead was arrested and arraigned for fraud in duping Trump’s campaign and the US government in US District court of Washington.

Then first week in August 2023, Trump was arrested and arraigned for defrauding the US government amongst others in the US District court of Washington on the very anniversary of my release from the dungeons of an African dictator 27 years ago.

In January this year, Wead’s coconspirator in the fraud crimes was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment. Wead did not go to prison. He had died a year before – weeks after he was charged at the US District Court of Washington.

But something else did happen in January. I filed a brief in US District court in Washington urging the court to provide relief to victims of Nigerian governments.

Why? Because it just so happens that the dictator who abducted and tortured me 27 years ago stole billions some of which entered the US and is now in court forfeiture at the US District court in Washington!

THREE RULERS

1. Gen. Abacha’s loot

2. Gen. Buhari’s proxy – Doug Wead &

3. Trump – Wead’s buddy – in the same court at the hands of the same God after trampling on me over 27 years…

As I read Wead’s indictment, I noticed that he committed the crimes in 2016 right after he’d first attacked me. So if I had sued him then, he’d have been so busy defending my lawsuit, he may not have had time to commit the crimes that brought him down.

However my silence made him feel invincible and he went on to bigger crimes.

FINAL POINT

1. Gen. Abacha died on the 2^nd anniversary of the day he abducted me

2. Wead died on the 7^th anniversary of the day that I first introduced him to the Chibok schoolgirls

3. Trump was arraigned, on the 27^th anniversary of my release from Gen. Abacha’s captivity, at the US District court in Washington.

Don’t tell me God isn’t Governor among the nations and God above all other gods.

He dealt with my weeds.

So I gratefully appreciate my award this weekend, the 60^th anniversary of MLK’s Dream speech, as “human rights advocate of the year” by Top Flyers Magazine in Nigeria and dedicate it to the God who delivers me from the principalities of this world on multiple continents.

I want to briefly highlight that:

1. Dr King fanned into flame the gift of God in him. He didn’t have a spirit of fear but love, courage and a sound mind.

2. He joined in suffering for the gospel and for the emancipation of minorities from oppression and injustice

3. And through Christ brought life and immortality to light and civil rights for us

My challenge to us is in like manner, let us fan into flame the gift of God in us that will bring life and immortality to light in different aspects of our countries, communities and localities. This is what Top Flyers is doing by spotlighting champions and also practically doing by assisting IDPs.

In conclusion, let me commend Top Flyers for doing a better job in selecting worthy Nigerians than the government whose new cabinet has attracted national and even international derision for scandalous nominees.

After reading Bloomberg’s money laundering report and my esteemed learned human rights leader Falana SAN’s analysis of the NYSC issue, Nigeria has now become a nation where even the appointment of a minister is a criminal offense. The problem with unconstitutional presidents is that they will birth unconstitutional ministers. He didn’t just appoint criminals ministers, his appointment of a minister was criminal! Our value systems as a society are completely perverted.

While I regret my absence, I look forward to working with the Top Flyers Foundation on mutual humanitarian interventions in Nigeria.

As we stand on shoulders of giants like MLK, may our own shoulders be available for future giants also to stand on.
