Afraid don dey catch me well well.

Dis one wey JAMB keep pikin dem for house till today, I no come sabi again. Shey na wen all di woman pikin dem wey dey wait to enter Uniservity carry belle, na im JAMB go say make dem enter school?

Since wen my two woman pikin dem – Bisi and Funke – jam JAMB last year, na so dem siddon for house morning, day and night.

JAMB talk say chance no dey for Uniservity until di people wey first enter Class One before Coro show face last year, enter Class Two, na im chance go dey. And anoder set jus take JAMB finish last week o. Tori Olorun!

But Funke tell me for weekend say, e be like say dia set go soon enter school. I come happy well well.

Na im make I talk am for my mind say, all di money I go make yesterday for my work, I go keep am make my pikin dem take enter school.

Di only ting be say, dat yesterday morning, as I dey drive my guonguoro dey go for our garage wey dey near Ikeja under bridge, I jus dey tell Eledumare say make I see passenger carry nyafu nyafu.

And true, true before I reach garage sef, one bobo like dat stop me for Odun Eran bus stop before Pen Cinema.

Di bobo say make I carry am for drop go Bode Thomas for Surulere. I tell am my price, e gree. I say make e enter.

As we begin dey go, di bobo ask me weda I no go put on A/C. I tell am say I no get a/c. See as di bobo shout for my head. E say make I stop make e drop kia kia. Na so I match break o. Di bobo jump down, e no look my side again.

As I reach garage, I say make I siddon small weda passenger go show face.

Na so one oga and madam waka enter garage. Di oga point hand for my guonguoro and ask who get am. I rush go quick quick.

Dem say make I go drop dem for Marina for Lagos Island. I tell dem my price, dem say no troublem at all, at all.

Before I open back door make di two both of dem enter, di madam ask me weda I get A/C. I confuse.

I say yes, sorry, no. Di madam ask me weda na yes and no at di same time. I tell am sorry, say I no get A/C. If you see di kind bad eye dis madam take look me, hmm, e reach to give small pikin convulsion.

Di madam hold oga hand and say, “Darling let’s go and get Bolt. Forget this old school yellow taxi.”

Na so I take miss all di passenger troughout dat yesterday becos of A/C, like say dem plan am. And na so I go back to my house for Abule Egba dat yesterday night without shi shi for pocket.

Abi na di handiwork of my village people for Ogbomoso?

How my pikin dem go take go school as dem wan start school so?

Na im make I dey find A/C to take put for my guonguoro kia kia. Even if na tokunbo, I no mind. If I no fit pay di money one time, I go dey pay small small till e finish before new year.

Make we jam again on Friday.
