The event has come and gone but would definitely remain a talking point for years to come. Lats Friday, March 8, music superstar Tuface (real name Innocent Idibia) stormed the oil state of Akwa Ibom, South-South Nigeria, to traditionally marriage his “Baba Mama” Annie Macaulay.

The traditional marriage held at Apostolic High School in Annie’s hometown, Esit Urua Community, Eket - Ibeno Road, in Uyo, was graced by a large crowd of celebs that included Governor Godswill Akpabio and Senator Florence Ita-Giwa alias Mama Bakassi.

Entertainment stars that thronged the event included Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, musician Sound Sultan, HipHopWorld Magazine boss, Ayo Animashaun, Now Muzik Chief, Efe Omorogbe, and Iyanya Mbuk, among others.

The event was preceded by a party on the marriage eve reportedly sponsored by Governor Akpabio, who also gave the couple two Prado jeeps as wedding gift.

News Express recalls that Tuface and Annie, who already have a four-year-old daughter, became engaged last year after the former playboy proposed with a sparkling diamond ring on Valentine’s Day in the presence of very close friends at former Club 10 (now Club PoP) in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The couple signed the dotted lines during a private civil marriage ceremony in Lagos but the white wedding has been scheduled for Dubai, UAE on the 23^rd of this month and are expected to spend their honeymoon there.
