I continue to tank Eledumare for all di ting wey e do for me since my papa and mama born me.

Wen I run comot for my village for Ogbomoso come Lagos in 1965, if dem tell me dat time say I go dey till today, I no go believe.

Dat time, I no even know di kind work wey I go do for Lagos, I jus run make Arike papa no use African Insurance finish me for village, say na me give im pikin belle.

But me I know well well say na lie di wicked man talk. Shey, jus becos me and Arike dey siddon for di same table for Standard 5 for village night school, and our body dey touch small, dat one fit give Arike belle?

Dat time, me and Arike, plus including all our classmate, we be small school pikin. I no be bank MD, and Arike no ever talk say e WORK UNDER me even for one day. So how I take give Arike belle?

And my question now be say, when Arike born di pikin las las, why dat im papa no carry di pikin go ask “dee-en-eh” weda or wedan’t di pikin na my own? I hear say na di new oyibo juju wey dem dey go check who get pikin be dat.

But sha, I run comot for village come Lagos make I no peme. Today, I tank Eledumare everyting happen like dat.

From Standard 5 village night school boy, to ordinary mecho apprentice for Isale Eko, now to original Lagos taxi driver wey di hole world sabi. Olorun Oba o!

E never finish o. Na so I come marry better wife Bose, wey come born two better woman pikin for me – Bisi and Funke. And my guonguoro sef dey one corner o. Wetin I dey find again?

Na im make, as dis new year jus show face, I carry my guonguoro go upgrade everyting for im body.

I repaint di body, change di engine, gear box, windscreen, upholstery, backasle, exhaust pipe and dashboard. I even fix stereo sef. Di only ting wey remain now na to put A/C.

If you see my guonguoro, you no go know am again. New year, new guonguoro. Olorun modupe lowo yin o!
