Dem dey talk am say, animal wey no get tail, na God dey drive am fly.

As Uber, Bolt, BRT, Lagbus, Keke Marwa, Keke NAPEP, Kabukabu etc etc, no gree make we dey see passenger again carry, somehow somehow, Eledumare dey give us wetin to carry go home every day make family chop.

Yesterday, na so I siddon for our garage wey dey near Ikeja under bridge, dey tink wetin my family go take do Keresimasi wey be today Friday. I tink sote my head wan burst.

We wey dey for Lagos road 24/7 see as people rush go do buy buy for market since last week, to take do Keresimasi with dia family.

I carry plenty passenger go for Kara last week to buy goat. I carry some go Balogun market for Isale Eko to buy clothes, shoes, handbags and order orisirisi tings for dia pikin. I carry some go Obasanjo Farm for Ota to buy chicken and turkey dem.

Wen I dey carry dem like dat, I dey talk am for my mind say which day Olorun go butter my bread too make I go buy tings for my wife Bose and my two woman pikin dem – Bisi and Funke?

Na di ting I siddon dey tink yesterday wen one sisi like dat waka enter garage.

As e jus enter, na me e come meet straight. E tell me say e wan see Oga MAT. I ask am say, I hope noting o. Di sisi say na di wahala with Naija people be dat. Ask any Naija person question, e go use question take answer di question.

Di way di sisi talk, I know quick quick say na Calabar sisi. I tell am make e no vex, say na as di contry be now with all dis kidnap, na im make e be like say I take question jam im question.

I ask am why e wan see Oga MAT. Di sisi ask me weda na me be Oga MAT. I say na wa o.

Di sisi come talk say, with di kind big big Araoke marks wey dey my face, e dey suspect say na me be Oga MAT. I ask am how. E say e sabi say Oga MAT na Ogbomoso man wey dia people dey tear dia face like say dem fight lion.

I laugh. Di sisi sef laugh.

Di sisi come tell me say e wan carry me for charter. I stand up to go start my guonguoro engine. Na im e come talk say no be for dat yesterday, and na outside Lagos we dey go. Tori Olorun!

Di sisi say na on Sunday, 27th December, e go charter me go Calabar. E say e no wan enter bus, say e wan carry yellow taxi like my own go make im people sabi say na Lagos gan gan e dey.

E say we go carry Rice, Semo, Ororo, Garri, Salt, Bottle water, Pure water, etc etc.

I come talk am for my mind say, na wa for dis Calabar people o. Any time dem wan travel go dia village, dem must carry all dis tings go like say di tings no dey for dia place.

Di sisi say wen we reach for Calabar, I go stay with am for dia house for village, same room, same bed and na same food we go dey chop till we come back togeder after New Year. Olorun Oba o!

Before I open mouth to talk, di sisi open hand bag, bring out 100k and give me. E say make I use part of di money take service my guonguoro before Sunday. E say na advance e pay me so.

My people, as I wan collect di money, na so my hand come dey shake like Shakespeare. Abi, I dey dream?

But wetin I go do? No be money to take do Odun for my family I siddon here dey tink since? Na dis one dem dey call miracle.

As I dey nack una dis tori so, I dey service my guonguoro for mecho workshop for my area Abule Egba. Bose dey cook Keresimasi food for di family with di extra big fowl wey I buy dis moring. Wen I finish, I go branch for one shop and buy orisirisi drink wey we go take wash di food down.

Di one wey sweet me pass for dis miracle, na dat jolly jolly wey me and di sisi go do for Calabar till we come back. I trust Calabar sisi dem.

Make we jam again on Tuesday.
