Small, small I come dey hear my wife Bose voice, plus including my two pikin - Bisi and Funke. Dem dey fire prayer. Una kukuma sabi say

Bose na prayer warrior. In fact, after dia pastor, na my wife for prayer for dia church wey dey for Pen Cinema.

I hear plenty people voice as dem dey shout Amin, as Bose dey fire prayer dey go.

I come dey open my eye small small. I see say I still lie down for hospital bed.

Na dat time Bose come shout, “P-r-a-i-s-e the Lord!!!” Everybody answer, “Halleluya!!!”

As I open my eye, I see doctor dey look me, dey write someting. Di nurse jus dey hold my hand, dey look my face ti-ti-ti.

Bose, Bisi and Funke come hug me. Dem jus dey tell me e pele, e pele daddy.

My union member dem come dey tell me: “Oga MAT, be strong.”

I come look round. I look left, right, everywia for di hospital ward.

Doctor tell me make I no worry, say im been tell dat bie bie man to comot, and make e no ever show face again for di hospital.

Di next day, na im our union chairman Jimoh, use im own taxi come carry me for hospital go drop me for my house for Abule Egba. I tank Jimoh well well.

My family happy to see me, no be small. I see say my guonguoro dey for our compound. Bose tell me say na our union member, Akpan been drive am come park am dat very day wey I faint for our garage wey dey near Ikeja under bridge.

Bose come cook better food for me dat evening. My wife know say I no dey take iyan and efo play, plus including eran ogunfe. And na so I chop di food sote I come dey sweat, den I come sleep like baby till morning.

I wake up early dat morning as usual, to go begin warm my guonguoro and take am enter road, but Bose hold me, e no allow me comot for bed.

Bose say I no dey go anywia, dat doctor talk say I must rest for 3 days before I start work again. Tori Olorun!

Na dat time my wife tell me say, me and am get talk dat morning.

I tell Bose say I kukuma sabi di talk wey e wan make we talk.

I tell am say, sebi I don swear plenty time for am say no be me get dat belle wey Arike carry wen we dey for Standard 5 for our village night school.

I say na dat wicked Arike papa talk say na me give im pikin di belle, sote e wan use African Insurance take finish me, wey make me run comot for our village for Ogbomoso come Lagos in 1965.

I tell Bose say, I no born any pikin for outside, na only di two woman pikin wey e born for me – Bisi and Funke – be my pikin.

I tell am say, even Arike no fit talk say na me give am dat belle.

Shey to siddon near woman for class fit give woman belle? Na only our body been dey touch, since we dey siddon for di same table for class, dat’s all.

My wife tell me say e believe wetin I tell am. E say body touch body no fit give person belle. But e get someting wey e wan make I do so dat, dat bobo wey carry bie bie like Osama no go come again come claim say na me born am. Bose say e no wan make I faint again.

My wife tell me say, make I find better doctor wey go test my blood, and dat bie bie bobo blood, to really know weda or wedan’t di bobo na my pikin.

I tell Bose say I gree intoto, bcos true, true I no wan faint and land for hospital again.

Abeg, na who sabi better doctor make e direct me.
