A supposed disciplinarian, Felix Ezike, has allegedly stabbed one Deji Animashaun, 19, to death in the Egbe area of Ikotun, Lagos State.

Deji’s father, Dada, invited Felix to help him discipline his son who was reportedly caught stealing and had failed to take to correction.

While Felix was disciplining Deji, it was learnt, the teenager resisted and the disciplinarian brought out a jack knife and allegedly stabbed the victim in the head and body.

Deji reportedly collapsed and was rushed to hospital for treatment. He, however, died while receiving treatment in hospital.

Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said the father and the disciplinarian had been arrested, adding that the deceased’s corpse had been deposited in the mortuary.

“Meanwhile, the boy’s father and the said Felix Ejike have been arrested and exhibit recovered. Homicide detectives of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, are discreetly investigating the matter.”
