I am compelled by necessity to once again draw the attention of Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Aisha Buhari has so far demonstrated uncommon irresponsibility, indiscipline and immaturity in her conduct and behaviour expected by and from the wife of The President of any country let alone of a country like Nigeria. This woman has succeeded in embarrassing, ridiculing and demystifying the person and office of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Aisha’s behaviour is never a behaviour of a highly cultured, mannered and religiously brought up woman from any normal society especially a typical Fulani woman. Aisha, what did Baba do to you that you are embarrassing him like this? At his age he needs your support and prayers. The problems of Nigeria are enough to breakdown any President, not to talk of a President who has made enemies just for insisting that we must change our old ways.

Aisha you must know that we did not elect you. Nigerians elected your husband not you. The title you occupied is unconstitutional. The Constitution of Nigeria does not know Aisha Buhari it only knows Muhammadu Buhari. Do not be carried away with your ceremonial appearance on inauguration day to think you are on a joint ticket. The constitution is very clear as to who is to be sworn in case of a vacuum otherwise Turai Yar’Adua could have been the President ahead of Goodluck Jonathan. Madam so where then did your arrogance came from?

Aisha you have been interfering too much with governance. You are obstructing the smooth flow of governance at the Presidential Villa. You are not the only one that worked for your Husband to be elected many Nigerians did. If I may say Maryam Babangida, Maryam Abacha, Mrs Shonekan, Justice Fati Abubakar, late Stella Obasanjo, Turai Yar’Adua, Patience Jonathan have all been there before you and all of them have shown better civility, decorum, discipline, personal restraint and support to their Husbands and never Embarrass them in public or fought even a messenger in the Presidential Villa or office. They never overtly or covertly drew attention of the public to the Villa in a negative way like you are doing.

Your Media and Publicity Assistant just said “no one has the right to fight the wife of the President.” This is the most useless response I ever can imagine from a media person. In like manner you also have no right to fight other people’s husbands. Anyway, this is a topic for another day. Madam, your inventory quarrels and needless ego fight and power drunkenness with staff of the President is not only unbearable, it must stop. The latest being Yusuf (Tunde) the Personal Assistant to the President who is more or less a son to you. He grew up in that family. You shamelessly pick quarrel with your children.

The last quarrel with Fati, Mamman Daura’s daughter, where you were caught on video behaving like a wife of a councilor, forgetting that you are a wife to the President of Nigeria. The embarrassment you caused yourself and the global outrage made you to publicly apologize. Many of us thought that incident as ugly as it was will be the last. But you learnt nothing from it. Tunde is to President Buhari what a gear box is to a car. Let me remind you, where were you when the President was terribly sick? This same Tunde was the wife, son, grandson, uncle in fact everything to the President. The only person who did give up that the President was not dead was Tunde. Tunde is an embodiment of an unprecedented definition of loyalty, service, and confidant. This is the person you want to humiliate, embarrass, dehumanize and even threaten his life. He is not your staff.

Besides the Villa is not your house it belongs to Nigerians which they gave it to their President to stay temporary while he serves them. We did not give it to you. Therefore, you have no right to give yourself the title of an emperor in the Villa. When the late Gen. Gado Nasko was FCT Minister, he said all occupants of the Villa are his tenants including the President. So where do you get your legitimacy to chase Tunde, the Clearing House of the President, out of the Villa? If Tunde travels and returns to the Villa, when did you become the enforcer of COVID-19 restrictions in there? The Villa has a medical center and qualified medical staff to enforce any rule. But you packed some useless ambitious policemen and gave them unlawful orders to go and chase Tunde out including firing of firearm. Tunde has to jump fence and run for his dear life. You are just lucky he was safe otherwise you could have known that Tunde is not an ordinary Nigerian just like you even though you don't value your status.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) clearly stated the type of isolation for different category of Nigerians and Tunde falls within those Nigerians. Why do you want him out of the Villa dead or alive when your own daughter also travelled to Maiduguri and came back and stayed in the same Villa?

Madam, left for me, you are not fit to be in the Presidential Villa, you are supposed to be Kaduna. The distraction and embarrassment is too much. You have tested our loyalty to our President too much. We will no longer keep quiet.

The First Family is where the moral compass of a country can be drawn. But you have succeeded in messing up and negatively destroyed the reputation of a man who built his name when you were still perhaps clutching your feeding bottle. Enough is enough!
