Nollywood diva, Rita Dominic Nwaturuocha is the latest initiate of the rave of the moment comic game called “Don’t Leave Me” challenge.

The 44-years old Imo State-born Theatre Art graduate from the University of Port Harcourt initially didn’t understand what the whole ruse was all about.

She had initially tweeted on Monday asking for the meaning of the challenge:

“So what’s this ‘Don’t leave me challenge’ all about”? she had enquired.

A few fans put her through, now the 2017 African Movie Academy Awards Best Actress in Leading Role seems to have overtaken all her colleagues in the challenge.

Hear her: “I bought this jersey recently, does it mean it’s from New Jersey? #dontleaveme.”

And now she is hooked on it. She says: “This challenge is hilarious.”

What is the Don’t Leave Me challenge?

You probably hate bad jokes as much as the next person, and the “Don’t Leave Me” challenge is all about bad jokes. If you’ve got an arsenal of bad jokes and horrible puns you’ve been sitting on, this might be the challenge for you.

The whole point of the challenge is to share a pun or equally horrible joke and follow it up with “don’t leave me” as you run away from the camera. It’s the typical reaction you’d expect out of anyone who tells a bad joke – it’s just been turned into a trend on the internet.

Examples:

- If my cat sits on the pillar is it a caterpillar?

- If my name is Rita and I dominate in whatever I do, does that make me Rita Dominic?

- If a group of short people are coming together does it mean shortcoming?

- I just saw a man fall into a small hole, does it mean it is Manhole?#dontleaveme

Please don’t leave me. Stay with me!
