It is too unfortunate that the Senate should be in a haste to give their verdict. You don't throw away the baby with the birth water no matter the circumstance. Yes, you have a standing rule, and even if violated, there is a very serious allegation against the Senate President. This, by every standard, needs to be investigated and all given a fair hearing to clear the Senate. Note that you are the representatives of the people and cannot turn yourselves into Lords of the same people. You may jubilate today that you have killed this matter by your suspension, but No, as the damage will remain a reference point till eternity. Resolve this matter unless I hold all of you guilty of the same character.
