T. Y. Danjuma and indeed Gen. Gowon should have a lot of truths to tell Nigerians. They should do so now so that at least, posterity may show them some kindness. Some people prop up evil or train the lion's cob and still show surprise when it later pounces on them as meat. One elder in a comic show the other day, tore his party card on television to prove that he was rooting for the new king, but today is engrossed in writing lengthy letters when his democratic rights have been threatened or replaced with bare-faced tyranny. Leaders are prophets who should see into the future and lay suitable foundation to support it.

General Danjuma, even when you have not stated what you know and happening in Nigeria, we cannot sleep with our eyes closed. So it does not make any difference to us, just say what you know because you are also ignorantly or deceptively complacent in the whole scheme of the affair. Well, it is not late you can still mend the fence by understanding that those you were dinning with before now are not for you. They are actually against you and will do everything possible to subdue you. You and your people should be wiser.
