These shameless bigots will remain a disgrace for ever. Andy Uba has low character and he knows it. What was his record for the few months he was governor of Anambara State? How do they know he will win if not hopping that rigging will do it.

The former duputy governor of the central bank, Dr. Mailafiya Obadiah, has said it all. And we must all stand up to defend the right and sanctity of our people. We fought, under Gen. Yakubu Gowon for the unity of one Nigeria, and we would never allow any section of the country to single handedly, claim the glory. Nigeria is a secular nation, even under our founding Fathers and we must all rise up to condemn any individual or group that would want to drag us back to the stone age of inter tribal and inter religious wars.

Do you know what I actually said after reading this piece as a real Igbo man? I said Ozoemena like Hausa-fulani running and piloting my affairs or national affairs as an igbo man, and I am sure I spoke d mind of many igbo. If anything, larger percentage of igbo people want self rule away from Hausa-fulani dominated leadership since after d war in 1970.

Vaccination should not be compulsory or imposed on any citizen. This directive hinders and stop people of Edo state to access what they use their tax and money to build.

This is part of the problem. Why are you adding "controversial" to the bill? What makes it controversial? Because you want to be in Buhari's good books, right? The bill is the wish and total desire of the entire southern people, so how can you say it is controversial?

State laws are mini federal laws and as such, must be enforced by police run by federal govt since d states do not run d police and do not have anything in place of that that is as active as d federal police in d states. It is not enough to draw a simile from northern Hisbah to use ineffective Ebubeagu or Amotekun to enforce d laws, bcus Hisbah was unconstitutional and moreover if these outfits are used, chances are that they may conflict with federal police on "federal duty" and thereby cause more harvoc and confusion than provide d needed solution. And what is "federal duty", you may ask? The "federal duty" is that d federal never supported d laws and had been neckdeep in activating grazing routes which is a counter or opposition to state ban on open grazing.

It is not that the criminal elements in the society are more in number and superior in strength to the law abiding citizens but institutional principles of security favour these criminal elements: the ethnic and religious fanatics with skewed and convoluted doctrines in the national security apparatuses covertly aid the crises. The victims of these crises very often would tell the tales of how security forces would not respond to calls on security threats or how they would stand aloof while these mayhems go on. This is another great evil dimension of security challenges in Nigeria.

It is highly regrettable that a high state office could beat about the bush in an answer to a simple question, ' why has the government of President Muhammad Buhari refused to designate bandits and killed herdsmen terrorists'? What is more terrifying than kidnap of hundreds of school children from their hostels and threatening to kill them all if ransoms are not paid on their heads? What is more terrifying than groups armed persons that invade and kill hundreds of hapless villagers in their sleep? What is more terrifying than armed people who waylay wayfarers and kidnap them for ransom? What is more terrifying than a group of armed persons who invade and kill and kidnap people from secured institutions like the militarily formations and institutions? Mr. Garba Shehu, Presidential spokesperson is a diatribist and nothing more. He should be remind that his duty is not defence of his principal but making constructive statements out of his principal's error and contents in correcting public odium of presidents actions.
