Afegbua is on point. Governor Nyesom Wike is advocating sanity in Nigerian politics. It's the servility of Southern politicians to their Northern counterparts (since the days of Dr Azikiwe & the NCNC, who aligned with Sir Ahmadu Bello & the NPC instead of Chief Awolowo & the AG & paved the way for the NPC to form the 1st independent federal government in 1960) that put us in this mess of 2nd Class citizens in a country the South contributes most to build. The Northern establishment, led by the Fulani, have been taking the South for a ride. Their ambition is to rule Nigeria for ever, despite leading it downhill! We all know how Atiku derailed his own party, the PDP & the Southern presidential candidate, Dr Jonathan, in 2014-15 & instead, campaigned for Buhari, a fellow Fulani Muslim of another party, the APC. We also know how he subverted the PDP Constitution on rotation to usurp the turn of the South East, the stronghold of the party. Now, he is talking of due process & party Constitution which he never reckoned with. Atiku is a selfish bully & dictator & not a unifier. He should never be allowed into the Presidency of Nigeria. He'll be worse than Buhari! Why can't Nigerians read between the lines to see that they are being taken for a ride by the Fulani & their Northern establishment?

Police officers should respect themselves in uniform and they have no right to assault anybody. I agree it is a felony to retaliate but Officers must also refrain from acts of intimidation, threats or assault. Unfortunately, there is no recourse in court for police assaults.

You are looking for subversive elements in the country and the chief of subversion is staring you in the face. Terrorism and economic downturn have multiplied a hundred fold since Buhari took office. The East-West road from Eleme junction to Onne junction of Rivers State is long over due to be fixed. The impact of the Federal Ministry of Works on the road is nothing to talk about. It's really unfortunate that the Federal Government has not done enough towards the deplorable condition of the road despite the cry from motorists plying the road. The NDDC is not helping issue, afterall this is not the first time we heard that NDDC have taken over the fixing of the road. I hope this will not be another attempt to divert the mind of the Niger Delta people because electioneering period is at hand. The road is now a death trap for the road users. For crying out loud, the FGN should live up to expectations.
