Jigawa state government is yet to pay new minimum wage to their workers as stated above

The Suspension is not yet punishment. I think I it was put in place to enable thorough investigation. Their acts is barbaric to say the least. Stiff penalties should and must be metted out to them. What if the young man had died? Hmmm.

Unless there will be additional punishment, the suspension ordered is grossly inadequate. The students should be handed over to the police for discreet investigations and possible prosecution. This will serve as a deterrent to others who may be tempted to adopt this ignoble attitude in future, please.

Suspension not enough. I watched the video. And I am still in shock. The students should be arrested and prosecuted. The Principal should be queried. And the parents of the victim should sue the students, the school and its Management.

While I agree with you over the fallen standard of education in Nigeria, I totally disagree with you in the issue of Ph.D student not being able to write his name. A ph.D student who can't write his name properly shouldn't be coming from the South South or South East. It's quite impossible to say a thing like that of a Ph.D holder except the name was not spelt according to how you know it. Some names are like that.

With the growing hardship, teachers need to be carefully treated. in State like Imo where there is yet to be a single teachers recruitment since 2015, there stands a huge gap in learning. most Secondary schools in Imo state have about 5 to 8 teachers to handle a a huge population. some teachers teach more than two subjects just to cover up. so the work load is also too much on teachers to be efficient and effective.
