Times are hard and the roles are no longer coming in as expected, but somehow the stars must survive, especially to justify their exhibited high profile lifestyle.
Let's not go into the very well-known body selling adventures of some of the female members of the make believe world, let’s zero in on the legitimate means of survival adopted by many of the senior girls of the glamorous industry.
While some of them are brand ambassadors of some multinational conglomerates, many of them are just hustling, advertising products and services of small scale enterprises, just to make ends meet in the absence of the once robust artiste fees earned from acting roles.
The social media is awash with these advertisements.
Based on our research, the top three “sales girls” of the industry in order of their commitment to the trade are:
Halima Abubakar – The Kogi State-born actress is deep into advertisement of hair attachments. And they come in different brands and trade names.
Mercy Johnson: Heavily pregnant Isioma from Kogi State, mother and wife is in the forefront of advertising various types of food supplements which she claims are a sure means of looking trim and sexy. But it is more of “do as I say, not as I do” on the part of the bulky actress.
Anita Joseph: This newly wedded Anambra State-born actress has long been in the business of advertising boobs and butt-enhancing wears on her social media handles, especially the Instagram. Day-in, day-out, she is there to display how a particular tightening wear can push in your tummy, enhance your bust, boobs and butt.
