The outgoing Chairman of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad accompanied by the incoming NAHCON Chairman, Barrister Zikrullahi Hassan, today, 4th February 2020, led some senior management staff of the commission to pay a condolence visit to the Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia in Nigeria, Mr. Muhammad Fauzan, over the sudden demise of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency, Mr. Adnaan Bostaji.
A statement by Fatima Sanda Usara,Head, Public Affairs,NAHCON Wednesday, said the outgoing chairman declared they were still in a state of shock over the news.
He extended condolence on behalf the commission to the embassy staff and entire family of late Amb Bostaji over the loss.
Barr. Mukhtar solemnly admitted that the Late Ambassador will be missed, eulogising him as a wonderful person, diplomatic, caring, has a professional ambiance and a complete gentleman.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him Jannatul Firdous.
Earlier, the Deputy Ambassador described the death as overwhelming, shocking, unexpected and appreciated the commission for their prompt condolence visit.
This, according to him exemplifies the kindness of the Nigerian people, their high ethical standard, their high class. And to identify with the embassy in this time of bereavement is a kind deed and very encouraging indeed, Mr Fauzan acknowledged.
