The “You don hit my car” crooner is demanding a whopping sum of N30 million from the 29-year-old “Love My Baby” exponent for copyright infringement.
The former Remedies claims Wizkid’s Gbese song has some contents of his 2004 hit song with Ghanaian singer Tic Tac titled Fefe N’efe.
Tetuila a day ago had twitted,
“I just want to clear the air as I am hearing things coming Ghana. Yes, it is true that myself and Tic from Ghana (formerly known as Tic Tac) are both suing Wizkid and DJ Tunez at the Nigerian Federal High Court for violating our intellectual property rights from our song Fefe N’ efe. Our lawyers have advised us not to say more than that. Thank you. Tony Tetuila.”
Maggie’s Blog has it on good note that the Kwara State born musician turned politician has already filed the case in a court of law and is not taking the matter lying low.
Wizkid was yet to state his own side of the story as at the time of going to press, but trust that we shall keep you posted on the entertainment/legal war as it gathers momentum.
