The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has suspended the immediate past president of the union Abdulwaheed Odusile and a sitting Vice President (VP) in charge of Zone C, Petrus Obi, for anti-union activities.
Others suspended are the VP Zone C of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), affiliate of the NUJ, Chibota Edozie, and Ngozi Agbo Enugu State Council of the union.
The suspension of the four erring members was adopted by the National Executive Council at its ongoing meeting, chaired by the National President Chris Isiguzo in Lokoja, Kogi State.
Details of the suspension are expected in a communique at the end of the meeting.
