Emeka Ozumba promoted Deputy CPS to Governor Obiano

Mr Emeka Ozumba, Chief Media Officer to wife of Anambra State Governor, has been appointed Deputy chief press secretary to the State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano.

Prior to his appointment, Ozumba was Managing Consultant at an Abuja-based government/public affairs and media advisory consultancy services known as Ozion Ltd.

Speaking after his swearing, the Enugwu-ukwu-born media executive promised to redouble his efforts in serving the state.

Earlier in his speech, Governor Obiano urged the new deputy CPS to work harder in the discharge of his duties.

He stressed that the appointment was a result of Ozumba’s commitment and excellence while carrying out his media duties.

Ozumba, a 1987 Mass Communications graduate of Institute of Management and Technology has not less than 25 years experience in marketing communications and public affairs.

He also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma from the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Lagos and a degree from the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam.
