The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (KSMPWB) has commenced the airlift of pilgrims back home from the Holy land, Saudi Arabia.

A statement on Friday by KSMPWB Public Relations Officer, Yunusa M. Abdullahi, said the return journey started after successful completion of Hajj rites by pilgrims from the state.

“The aircraft landed at Kaduna International Airport 11:30am today (Friday) with 546 pilgrims via Max airline. They arrived with their luggage,” the statement said.

About 3,546 pilgrims from Kaduna State performed the hajj this year.
