The Spain chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has warned the Senators-elect of the party to unite in order not to give room to the opposition parties to sneak in to the leadership position of the Senate.

In a press statement in Madrid Spain, on Saturday, its chairman, Amb. Stephen Adeayo Tella, pleaded with the Senators-elect on the platform of the APC to be united and urge them to be in good conduct and unite to make the vision, mission and the Next Level agenda of the President Muhammadu Buhari to be actualised and not be jeopardise by “the opposition parties which has been working assiduously to draw Nigeria back to the looting era.”

He counseled them to speak in one voice and accept the decision of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) led by Comrade Adams Oshiomole to choose the leadership of the National Assembly “in order to avoid the reoccurrence of what transpired in 8th Senate which hindered President Buhari from achieving his aim in the fight against corruption and other sectors in his first tenure.

Mr. Tella urged them “not to repeat the same 2015 mistake in choosing their leaders in the National Assembly in June this year.”
