The Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has admonished the people of Ukwuani, Ethiope East and Ughelli South local government areas “not to leave gold for silver.”
Okowa said this on Monday during his campaign tour of the local government areas for 2019 general elections.
Speaking at Obiaruku, the governor said that Ukwuani people have made him proud, adding that since his administration began, they have been giving him their necessary support, and that has also crystallised in the positive changes recorded by his administration. He assured Deltans of further improving on his developmental strides as he commences the second tenure of his administration.
“We will complete all the road networks in the 25 local government areas of the state to link every other road for proper accessibility,” Okowa said, adding that his administration will continue to do what is right to the people of the state.
