The stage is set. Nigeria and France are out on the pitch in a Round of 16 showdown against European power France at the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

History favours Nigeria in the encounter just kicked off at the Estadio Nacional, Brasilia. The only match between the two teams ended in a 1-0 triumph for the Super Eagles in June 2009.
