Isah Gidado, Secretary of KADMAM who spoke on behalf of the coalition, however, called on the Kaduna State Government to strengthen citizens participation and openness of its immunization initiatives by improving state-level CSO's participation in relevant immunization meetings.

"CSOs in Kaduna, who are representatives of the people,  have not been coopted in the RI finance working group meetings despite several advocacies to the State Primary Health Care Development Agency. We are, therefore, making a passionate appeal for inclusion in the 2018 budget implementation for RI," he said.

While commending the Sokoto State Government for improving on the participation of CSOs in the last two quarters of 2017, he appealed to the state government to allow public access to immunization information.
