The agency predicted that the Southern states will experience early morning mist and fog weather conditions throughout the forecast period.

It also predicted partly cloudy-to-cloudy sky in the afternoon/evening hours with day and night temperatures in the range of 33℃ – 36℃ and 18℃ – 25℃ respectively.

According to NiMet, Northern states will experience sunny and hazy condition with day and night temperatures in the range of 30℃ – 33℃ and 10℃ – 18℃ respectively.

“The Northern and Central states are anticipated to be in sunny and hazy conditions, while dust haze condition is not unlikely over Lokoja, Makurdi and Enugu axis.

“The moisture influx is expected to give early morning hours fog/mist condition and partly cloudy to cloudy sky in the afternoon and evening hours over the Southern states within the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
