Nigerians, get ready to be rocked! Reggae dancehall superstar Sizzla is warming up to storm the country for an unforgettable performance.

Sizzla’s promoter, Mr. Logic, CEO of One Reggae multimedia group, Jamaica, disclosed this to News Express. “We are bringing the legend himself to Nigeria, so Nigerians should get ready to be rocked because Sizzla is ready to explode when he comes to town,” said Mr. Logic, who is also CEO, World Reggae Productions, Jamaica.

The celebrated reggae promoter, who spoke on phone and followed up by e-mail, discussed that Sizzla would be performing in Lagos during his Nigerian trip. “All the necessary arrangements are being made and I can assure you that the trip will happen in the next few months. Please tell Nigerians who have been itching to see Sizzla live that he will soon be in town to thrill them,” Mr. Logic stated.

Described by Wikipedia as “one of the most commercially and critically successful contemporary reggae artists,” the 37 years old Sizzla Kalonji, or simply Sizzla (real name Miguel Orlando Collins) has 21 albums that have made it onto the Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums music chart, with one of them, ‘Words of Truth’, reaching the peak position of No. 5.

Sizzla has performed in several countries across the world and with some of the world’s greatest music stars. He has been nominated twice as Best International Reggae Artist of the Year at the MOBO Awards and boasts a place in various magazines’ top 100 albums of the year. His 2013 album ‘The Messiah’ was last month nominated for a Grammy Award.
