The frontrunner in the on-going Anambra State Governorship Election, Chief Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been accredited at his Eri Primary School Ward in Aguleri.

The accompanying photo shows the Aguleri High Chief getting accredited this morning preparatory to exercising his franchise.

Speaking after his accreditation, Obiano dismissed rumours that he had either been disqualified or withdrawn from the race.

He urged Anambrarians to disregard the rumour and expressed confidence that he would win the election.

Obiano’s campaign organisation and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had earlier dismissed the rumour and asked the voting public to disregard it.
