The Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris has called for improved relationship between the police and the Nigerian populace.
Speaking when he met the Nigeria Unite Against Terror Group led by human rights activist, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin, Mr Idris said such interface will improve the image and perception of the Force by the public.
The IGP Idris emphasised the need for Nigerians to be united in the fight against crime and terror for rapid national development.
The IGP also underscored the determination of his management team to implement the international core values of policing with integrity and accountability as he promised to set up a working committee to interface with the group to improve police-civil relations. (Channels TV)
