ADAMAWA GOVERNOR wins FIGHTER OF THE CENTURY AWARD

An Abuja-based group has crowned Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State in Nigeria’s North-East as Fighter of the Century.

In a public notice it issued in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, the Goodluck-Sambo Success Group justified the award, saying as follows:

“This award is hereby presented to Governor Murtala Nyako, Governor of Adamawa State. In the last 6 years Governor Nyako has consistently engaged in political fights without any knockout punch. At the last count Governor Nyako has unsuccessfully taken on:

“The good people of Adamwa State; Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, National Chairman PDP; Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Former Nigerian Vice-President; Prof. Jibril Aminu, Former Minister of Petroleum; Amb. Hassan Adamu, Wakili Adamawa; Air Marshal A S Badeh. Who Next?

“The good people, uncowed and the uncowable people of Adamawa State for questioning his lack of performance.
“The President Goodluck E. Jonathan GCFR for not ‘conceding to him the leadership of the party in Adamawa State’.

“Waged an unending war against Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.

“Exhausted, he has enlisted the support the support of Sule Lamido, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Aliyu Babangida and Aliyu Wamakko.

“A warrior by nature, a sailor by profession, Nyako hates peace. For the renewed offensive against Prof. Jibril Aminu, Hassan Adamu, Chief Joel Madaki and Alhaji Gambo Jimeta. The former Vice-President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who is known as political enemy number one in Nyako’s political camp.
