NAN MD leads delegation of ex-employers on condolence visit to family of late NUJ Abuja Chairman, Chuks Ehirim

A management team of Independent Communications Limited, publishers of TheNEWS magazine/PM NEWS, led Mr. Bayo Onanuga, now Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria, has visited the family of late Chairman of Federal Capital Territory chapter of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Chuks Ehirim.

The team which also included Senator Babafemi Ojudu, now Special Assistant on Political Matters to President Muhammadu Buhari; Ayorinde Oluokun, Abuja Bureau Chief, and Femi Ipaye, Senior Photojournalist, extended their condolences to the family of the late journalist who died last week after a brief illness.

Ehirim, who was former staff and Enugu State correspondent of TheNEWS magazine in the 1990s, died on his golden anniversary birthday, leaving behind a wife, Esther and four children.
