The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, April 1, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Moderate dust haze is expected over Sokoto, Gusau, Katsina Nguru and Gombe while areas like Kano and Dutse may experience thick dust haze. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over cities like Abuja, Lokoja, Jos, Lafia and Makurdi during the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24 -27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over this region in the morning while there are prospects of isolated thunderstorms in the inland cities and some parts of the coast; Eket, Warri, Port Harcourt and Lagos in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-26oC.
