Today’s Weather: NiMET predicts cloudy conditions, rains and thunderstorms in the South, dust conditions in the North

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, November 6, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES                                      

Coastal Areas: Cloudy conditions are expected over the western part with chances of localised rains in the eastern part during the morning hours, while the entire coast will experience localised thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening hours.

Inland Areas: Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland cities in the morning. The

western part of the inland is expected to remain cloudy while the eastern part may likely experience localised thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening hours.

Central States: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over the entire central states throughout the forecast period.

NORTHERN STATES: Moderate dust conditions with visibility of 3-5km are expected over the entire North during the forecast hours.
