Cloudy weather and thunderstorms to dominate today’s weather, NiMET predicts

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, October 27, 2015:

COASTAL AREAS: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of thunderstorms over the South-West coast during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the South-East coast during the afternoon/evening hours.

INLAND AREAS: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over the South-West inland during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the south east inland during the afternoon/evening hours.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over Abuja, Makurdi, Lafia, Minna, Lokoja, Jalingo and Yola during the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are expected during the forecast period over the region.
