Today’s weather: Expect rain, clouds and thunderstorm —NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

SOUTHERN STATES COASTAL AREAS: Cloudy condition is expected to prevail over the southwest coast while the southeast coast will likely experience localised rain in the morning hours with prospects of localised rains over the entire coast in the afternoon/evening.

INLAND AREAS: cloudy conditions are expected over the entire region in the morning, while during the afternoon/evening hours, localised showers is expected to prevail over the region.

CENTRAL STATES: Localised showers are expected in the high grounds areas of the region while cloudy condition will prevail over the other parts of the central states in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is expected over the entire region during the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are expected in the north-east, while cloudy conditions are expected over the north-west in the afternoon/evening hours.
