Receiving the materials, Governor Hope Uzodimma, who was represented by the Head of Administration and Finance, Government House, Mrs. Julia Ukaigwe, thanked NIMASA for “coming to the assistance of the State at this moment when it needs such assistance most.”

She said that "this is a very critical time in the life of every government, especially Imo State that faced so many challenges including that of insecurity.”

She expressed gratitude of the State and emphasised that it has become necessary because “government cannot not do it alone”.

She noted that the government of Imo State under Senator Uzodimma has put in a lot to alleviate the sufferings of Imolites who were caught in the web of the unfortunate crises in the state, but still needs all necessary assistance from individuals and corporate bodies to further reach those not yet covered.
