FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria disowns firm, fake social media accounts

The management of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC says it has discovered fake social media accounts claiming to be part of the company.

The company, in a disclaimer published on its website, raised the alarm over the existence of the social media accounts in its name on the internet.

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria explained that one DairyVest has setup various social media accounts claiming to be part of the company.

According to the discliamer, “one DairyVest has setup various social media accounts claiming to be part of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V.

“Please note that NEITHER Royal FrieslandCampina NOR any of its operating companies is in any way associated with this investment, organization or platforms.

“This disclaimer is put forward to guide the public from being misled by DairyVest or any unscrupulous individuals.

“Please take further note that Royal FrieslandCampina or any of its operating companies SHALL NOT be liable NOR accept liability for any business transaction conducted with DairyVest, its assigns, successors-in-title, privy and any unauthorized persons.

The company, while assuring to apprehend the fraudsters, advised the public to desist from patronizing them and to send mail to info.wamco@frieslandcampina.com if they suspect any foul play.
