Guber hopeful Kutigi greets Nigerlites at Sallah, as Hon. Abdullahi Ali enjoins peaceful co-existence

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship hopeful in Niger State, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Idris Legbo Kutigi, has sent a message of congratulations on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration to the people of Niger State.

Kutigi in a statement urged the people of the state to pray for peaceful co-existence, good governance and an end to security challenges.

He also admonished the people of Niger State irrespective of political differences to pray for a newbreed leaders in the state.

Kutigi congratulated both Mislims and Christians in the state, praying for a peaceful celebration.

Similarly, a federal lawmaker from Kogi State representing Ankpa/Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Ali, has urged his constituents to use the occasion to pray for peaceful co-existence and unity among the people.

He appealed to the well-to-do in the society to use the occasion to assist the needy in the society in view of the prevailing economic hardship.

In his words, “We need to assist our people with the present situation as our people are suffering in the present situation and economic hardship; we don’t have a choice than to do our best.”

Hon. Ali said that “the occasion calls for sacrifices, perseverance as we hope for better days ahead in view of the global economic situation.”

He congratulated his constituents, the people of Kogi State and Nigerians at large for witnessing this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
