In its annual tradition of rewarding merit and encouraging patriots to do more to better the country and Nigerians, the Nigerian Pilot Newspapers has painstakingly identified some erstwhile members of the public who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavor.

Some of these people are accomplished journalists, humanitarians, politicians, administrators etc.

Their works of service to humanity has not gone unnoticed. It is for this reason that they are being honoured.

Those selected for this year’s Award include the founder of the Leadership Newspaper Group, late Sam Nda-Isaiah; doyen of human rights journalism, Ordinary President, Dr. Ahmed Isa; selfless educationist, Mrs Obiageli Mazi, and Dr. Isa Akinbode – both recognised recently by Professor Zulum, Governor of Bornu State – and other well-meaning Nigerians.

This year’s event is organised and managed by Red Sapphire Nigeria limited, a reputable events management company based in Abuja. The event is slated to hold on April 29, 2021 at the International Conference Center (1CC) in Abuja, the nation’s capital by 7pm.
