The Independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) candidate, Governor Adams Oshiomhole, the winner of yesterday’s governorship election in Edo State.
The declaration made at 7:41 a.m. in Benin, the Edo State capital credited Oshiomhole with winning over 400,000 votes as against less than 200,000 votes by his closest challenger, Gen. Charles Airhiavbere (retd.) the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Everyone appears happy and is celebrating Oshiomhole’s victory, which they see as being well deserved,” said a special correspondent of Transport & Business Express covering the election.
