The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress, (APC) of plotting to wipe out the party’s hierarchy including the national chairman, Uche Secondus, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State during a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin’s Palace.

Addressing journalists in Benin City, the Edo state capital, chairman of Obaseki/Shaibu campaign council, Mr. Dan Orbih alleged that the attack carried out on the PDP convoy could lead to a serious conflict involving states which had their governors in attendance.

Mr Orbih insisted that the APC had no official engagements at the palace, calling on security agencies to ensure those found culpable be made to face the law. (Channels TV)
