The Bishop of the Christ Army Church of Nigeria (CACN), Bori Diocese, Bishop Macjob Friday Mkparo, has extolled the Christian lifestyle of Pastor Jerry Needam, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Rivers State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro. Felix Obuah, describing him as worthy ambassador of Christ.

Bishop Mkparo spoke on Sunday at the church Thanksgiving Service to mark Pastor Jerry Needam’s birthday held at St. Luke’s CACN, Kono in Khana Local Government Area. He enjoined Christians to emulate the exemplary style of the publisher of the fastest growing tabloid in the state, National Network group of newspapers.

The Bishop said Ogonis and the state at large will remain proud to have him as their own and commended him for his fearless and courageous disposition to any cause he undertakes.

“Pastor Jerry Needam is an invaluable asset and inestimable treasure to his generation, he is a rare gem and achiever in his chosen profession and above all, he is God-fearing and lover of the church,” Bishop Mkparo declared, praying that God grant him many more years of fruitful life.

While calling on members of the church as well as youths of Kono Community and Ogonis in general to follow Pastor Jerry Needam’s footsteps, the cleric also expressed appreciation to the State Chairman of the PDP, Bro. Felix Obuah for giving his media aide the enabling platform to serve the state.

He said the CACN also appreciated the moral and financial contributions of Bro. Obuah to St. Luke’s CACN and the Bori Diocese as a whole, urging him to sustain the tempo as God would continue to reward his humanitarian works.

Messages of goodwill were presented at the crowded auditorium which comprised the clergy, the youths, women groups, and representatives of other parishes of CACN, Kono Youth Council as well as friends and political associates of Pastor Jerry Needam.

Speaking while sharing his testimonies at the occasion, Pastor Jerry Needam, described his life as eventful and a manifestation of God’s grace. God’s love for him, he said, cannot be quantified as he went on to thank his family especially his wife for their support at all times.

He expressed gratitude to his boss, the PDP Chairman in Rivers State, Bro. Felix Obuah, for his support and the church for their prayers even as he assured of his commitment and dedication to God’s work, to the best of his ability.
