The Sole Administrator of Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Felix Obuah has announced the cancellation of the monthly sanitation exercise in the state which should have held on Saturday.

Obuah however called on residents and businesses in Port Harcourt and its environs and in the various Local Government Areas to always endeavour to clean up their surroundings and dispose their wastes at the approved receptacles.

According to him, safe and healthy living should not be taken for granted by any resident in the state as the agency was doing everything possible to ensure that the state is at the peak of waste management and environmental cleanliness.
