Imo State Chief of Staff and Commissioner for Special Duties, Sir Jude Ejiogu, has applauded Governor Rochas Okorocha on his 51st birthday anniversary, describing him as a living legend who has positively touched the lives of individuals who never thought someone could offer assistance to them.

Sir Ejiogu made this statement in a congratulatory message to the governor signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ikenna Onuoha. He recounted that at 51, Governor Okorocha has achieved various monumental projects that aimed at improving the well being of the less privileged, saying that his birthday celebration is an occasion heralded with exceptional giant strides.

The Chief of Staff pointed out that the exemplary leadership qualities of the governor before and even as the number one citizen of the state would remain indelible in the hearts of all Nigerians and appealed to well spirited individuals in the state and beyond to continue to support his administration.

“Governor Okorocha has made a mark that cannot be forgotten in a jiffy, his 51st birthday commemoration is indeed a celebration of hard work, trust, commitment and success,” he stated.

Sir Ejiogu therefore commended Governor Okorocha for introducing free and compulsory education, infrastructural development, provision of employment opportunities through the Youths Must Work Programme as well as attaining a height his contemporaries could not reach despite their status in the society and called on other leaders in the country to emulate him.

He further enjoined Imolites to sustain the governor’s birthday celebration with fervent prayers as part of their role to show appreciation for his track records so far in the state since assumption of office as governor.
