President Muhammadu Buhari last night met members of the two factions in the House of Representatives.

A Channels Tv report quoted a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, as saying that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, would lead members of his group, while Femi Gbajabiamila, would also lead lawmakers that are loyal to him to the meeting scheduled to hold by 10pm at the First Lady’s Conference Room.

This is the first time the President will be meeting any of the leaders of the National Assembly since Dogara and the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, emerged.
